As reported by db at the start of the year, in 2024, Champagne shipped a global total – including the domestic market – of 271.4 million bottles, which was down 9.2% compared to the previous year. In terms of volumes, that percentage decline represented a drop of 27.6m bottles relative to 2023, when 299m bottles were shipped.
