The meat snacks category is predicted to grow, though not as rapidly as seen in previous years,according to Food Business News. Data from Information Resources, Inc., Chicago, found that sales of dried meat snacks in the year ended July 10, 2016 grew 4.3 percent and unit sales increased 5.6 percent.
