As of 2016, Millennials (consumers age 20-37) have passed Baby Boomers as America's largest living generation with a population around 76 million!
They have been given names like the "me generation" the "tech generation" and more, but most importantly to us, they are a generation of foodies and snackers. Combine this with an estimated buying power of over $200 billion, and you have recipe for lots of snack business with millennial consumers.
They are treating snacks as an "experience" based on sensory stimulation, flavor exploration and fuel up opportunities to drive their busy lives.
