San Juan just might be the culinary capital of the Caribbean. The city is home to an eclectic mix of foods, drinks and influences. The culinary scene is vibrant as chefs use the indigenous ingredients of the island with new cooking techniques as well as practice some of the same traditions that stemmed from the influences of the Africans, Spanish and Native Americans.
