Bottled water is expected to outsell soda in the U.S. for the first time ever in 2016, a shift that's reportedly due to people's concerns about contaminated tap water as much as people's concerns about sugar-spiked soft drinks. According to Euromonitor, Americans will drink an average of 27.4 gallons of bottled water this year-1.2 gallons more than the amount of soda they'll consume.
