Craft spirit growth is outpacing that of craft beer, registering a CAGR of 13% and 6% respectively, with premiumization and on-premise alcohol sales being key trends driving its emergence, according to Beverage Marketing Corporation (BMC) research. At current rates, the number of craft spirits suppliers will hit 3,422 by 2021 compared to 1,564 suppliers for craft beer.
