The Prettiest Deviled Eggs You’ve Ever Seen

The deviled eggs that are already smeared across the internet this year are anything but ordinary! New deviled egg recipes turn out beautiful, purple-layered egg treats garnished with colorful new toppings. You can find snacks that look like baby chicks in shells, and try thematic interpretations of the classic appetizer that are decorated in full-color Easter themes and prints.

Sustainable Packaging

With the growing awareness of today’s environmental issues, attention has been brought to some much-needed changes in food packaging. Many companies have ditched plastic and styrofoam in favor of sustainable, biodegradable, and recyclable packaging.

One example of this includes Fortnum & Mason’s carbon-neutral sailboat egg, which now comes in reusable packaging that is 100% free of plastic. Another is Selfridge’s Oat Milk Egg, which has packaging that is now completely plastic-free and is fully recyclable. Some other brands making the change include Buttermilk, Happi Orange, Cox & Co., and Cadbury.

Vegan Easter Egg Goodies

It’s been a couple of years since vegan eggs began trending, but vegan chocolate Easter eggs make up a whole other level of goodness. The market for Easter candy options that are non-dairy has been growing steadily for a while now. Many companies now offer a variety of plant-based products that are not only ethical but also sinfully delicious.

Some of the best vegan Easter egg treats to look for in 2022 include:

  • H!P Chocolate Eggs
  • Hotel Chocolate vegan Easter eggs (infused with refreshing mint oil)
  • Nomo hazelnut Easter eggs
  • The Mummy Meagz eggs (GMO-free and vegan)

Easter treat trends this year are anything but ordinary. The novelty brings a new dash of fun to the holiday. Adults haven’t been left out of the trend, either; new alcoholic treats that are perfect for a bit of well-deserved indulgence include Easter eggs made with wine, IPA, and even a gin and tonic-flavored egg.
