Symrise Flavor North America's 2021 Flavor Madness was a competition between hard seltzers and canned cocktails. The flavors that made up our 64 team single elimination style bracket were selected based on the top 50 flavors in each category, the fastest growing flavors in food service and our Symrise TrendScope®.

To narrow down the 64 flavors to a single beverage, crowned America's favorite ready-to-drink alcohol, we surveyed 5,000 consumers across the United States in real time using our online consumer intelligence platform.
