We know that kids can be some of the hardest consumers to read when it comes to food and flavor preference. We often get requests for top and trending flavors for different demographics, including children of different age ranges. So, in order to make it a little easier to find these trends we have put together a document for in-sight viewers and subscribers. We looked back on some of our previous work and put together some "easy-to-digest" flavor trends for kids 5-12 from around the world.
In the link below you will find top and emerging flavors for kids 5-12 in the sugar confectionery segment from North America, Latin America and Europe. The sugar confectionery category, in this case, includes licorice, lollipops, marshmallows, gums, jellies, chews, etc. In the last 2 slides you will find word clouds that show the flavor commonalities globally between North America, Latin America and Europe. Within the word cloud, the bigger the flavor, the more it shows up across regions. There is one word cloud for top flavors and one for emerging flavors.
