Restaurant operators who are growing tired of catering to Millennials can rejoice: There’s a new, perhaps more important, generation taking a seat at the table: Generation Z. Born after 1995 — just kids and teens right now — Gen Z are the biggest population swell since the Baby Boomers, and officials at market-research firm The NPD Group say Zs are already making a big impact on the restaurant industry.
