Symrise is very pleased to announce that in addition to our attendance at the Research Chefs Association (RCA) annual conference from March 8 to March 11, 2016 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, we will be sponsoring the opening reception.
The RCA Opening Reception will be held at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. The Ellie Caulkins Opera House is part of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (the center is second in size nationally only to Lincoln Center) and is conveniently located next door to the Convention Center. We will have our culinary team at the event, including the Symrise chefs who will be preparing a special dish for the opening ceremony guests.
This year’s RCA promises to be one of the best in the history of the organization, starting with the keynote address on March 10, 2016, by Top Chef and Chef of The Year Bryan Voltaggio who was recently a part of the Symrise roundtable discussion at Starchefs ICC 2015. Bryan will be speaking on: Food for Thought: Taste, Aromas, and Memories of Food.
We are very excited to be a part of the exchange of culinary ideas, product development and food trend discussions that will take place throughout the show.
The theme for the 2016 RCA conference is “The Future of Food,” making Denver the perfect setting for the event. If you have not visited Denver in a while, you will hardly recognize it! Not only has the city itself been transformed due to its architecture, expanding university system, transportation and arts institutions, but the food scene is amazing.
From a culinary vantage point Denver has exploded in restaurants over the past decade, following a huge millennial population influx from both east and west coasts. There are scores of highly innovative neighborhood restaurants to visit and Denver is considered the craft beer capital of the United States. We look forward to seeing everyone at the RCA conference and the opening reception!
