With cannabis gaining ground through legislation, the market for research and development of consumer goods is booming. Particularly appealing is the growth of edibles, with endless options for candies, gummies, chocolates, baked goods, and more packing shelves in dispensaries.

Recently, a few major food manufacturers like General Mills, Kellogg, and Pepsi called for Congress to crack down on copycat products that feature packaging and sweets similar to those of famous brands.

While such a move could force certain companies or products to rebrand, this effort won’t likely impact the market for CBD and THC edibles, which are popular with novices and cannasseurs alike. Which edibles are trending right now?

Delta-8 Gummies

Most people are familiar with THC, the psychoactive cannabinoid that features prominently in marijuana. This is Delta-9 THC.

Because marijuana is not yet federally legal and has only been legalized in certain states, many companies have instead focused on products that feature Delta-8 THC extracted from hemp cannabis or, in some cases, synthesized in a lab.

Delta-8 is similar to Delta-9, but it is found in much smaller concentrations, with significantly less potent effects. However, when extracted from hemp, which contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC, it is considered legal (although some states have enacted legislation to limit the sale of Delta-8 products).

As a result, Delta-8 is the talk of the town, so to speak, with tons of gummies and other products proliferating. Which ones are the best?

Everest

Everest frequently tops the list when it comes to Delta-8 gummies, with vegan, non-GMO products made from high-grade hemp grown in the USA. Gummies feature 20 mg per serving of Delta-8 THC and come in appealing flavors like Watermelon, Peach, and Blue Raspberry.

Exhale Wellness

Several things set Exhale Wellness and its gummies ahead of competitors. For starters, they’re organic and vegan, and Exhale prides itself on premium quality and full transparency. It also offers two different dosing options, with either 25 mg or 50 mg full-spectrum gummies, so consumers can choose their preferred potency.

While this brand is pricier than some competitors, it offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
