Savannah is currently one of America's most exciting culinary cities. Leading the way in Savannah is Mashama Bailey, chef at The Grey, which opened in late 2014. Chef Bailey is an alum of Gabrielle Hamilton's Prune in NYC. The Grey was named Eater.com's 2017 Restaurant of the Year and has helped to usher in a culinary Southern Revival across the U.S. They Grey offers "Port-city Southern" dishes with influences from around the world, including North Africa and India.
Recently, acclaimed chef Sean Brock opened up another Husk outpost in Savannah. But The Grey and Husk aren't the only great places to eat in Savannah. Check out our guide below to get the low down on where to eat, drink and get energized in Savannah during RCA.
